PRO3 chief to cops: Protect Constitution

CAMP Olivas, Pampanga — Police Regional Office 3 director Chief Supt. Edgardo T. Ladao yesterday called on the entire police force in Central Luzon to protect the Constitution from aggression of armed rebels who continue to terrorize secluded areas in the region.

Ladao made the call during the commemoration of the 114th anniversary of the Philippine Independence after a simple flag-raising ceremony at the PRO3 parade ground.

He led the activity with a theme “2012 Kalayaan Pananagutan ng Bayan para sa Tuwid na Daan” which was highlighted by the releasing of balloons.

In a brief speech, Ladao directed all provincial and city police offices as well as the different city and municipal police stations to hold similar activities simultaneously.

Part of the activity was the reading of Philippine National Police Chief Director General Nicanor Bartolome’s message which gave emphasis on the continuous efforts of every police personnel to attain the country’s true freedom through the implementation of the PNP Integrated Transformation Program.
